We are planning a family trip to India with our our 2 kids who by then will then be 10 months and 3 years old. We are thinking of going to Gokarna and renting a simple cottage near the beach so we can chill out, focus on connecting with the kiddies, maybe with a creative project each to work on. Plus we will get to avoid a large chunk of another European winter.

Spam attack
Unfortunately the forum is currently being targeted by weird spam users so I am having to authorize all new users. Due to the high volume of spam user requests it is possible that legitimate users are being denied access to the forum. Please email me directly or leave a comment here if you would like to sign up. I just had a baby a month ago so not being able to devote much time to building the forum, hopefully will be able to help it grow again soon.

Babywearing
It's interesting to look at how mothers carry their babies in different countries. There's a great link on this post with photos from all around the world; China, Thailand, India, Peru, Bolivia and various countries in Africa. They make me wonder why we need these expensive and complicated contraptions in the West!

Homeschooling
Have you thought of taking your kids out of school and homeschooling? Are you already doing it? How does it work while you are travelling? Looking forward to hearing people's experiences on this one. View the thread here in the Alternative Travel Ideas forum.
